TERMS OF REGISTRATION

  • A person who registers to complete any course with Kells will have the protection of all applicable rights as a consumer under consumer laws that apply to their state or territory.
  • The applicable course fees are payable upon registration of that course.

Online Courses

  • A refund will not be available where a person chooses not to proceed with undergoing a course for any reason.
  • A person will have 12 months from the date of paying the course fees to successfully complete all requirements that relate to their selected course(s), and if a person has not done so within that time period, the person will be deemed to have discontinued that course (or those courses), and any course fees paid by the person will be forfeited.

Face to Face Courses

The following rules relate to transfers, cancellations and no shows:

A Person wishes to transfer to a different course date by providing Kells with at least 3 business days’ notice No cost
B Person wishes to transfer to a different course date by providing Kells with less than 3 business days’ notice Transfer fee of 25% of the course fee payable by the student or their employer to Kells
C Person wishes to substitute themselves with another person to attend that same course date No cost
D Person seeks to cancel their course enrolment by providing Kells with at least 5 business days’ notice prior to the first day of training Refund is issued to the person or their employer less a $54 administration fee is to be retained by Kells
E Person seeks to cancel their course enrolment by providing Kells with less than 5 business days’ notice prior to the first day of training Refund is issued to the person or their employer less a 50% administration fee of the course fee is to be retained by Kells
F Person does not attend the course without providing notice, or partial attends and leaves without a reasonable reason No refund is issued, or the full course fee is payable by the person or their employer, to Kells

Kells may move the dates of any scheduled course by providing notice to a person or their employer, and Kells must make at least one other course date available for the person to attend within 90 days otherwise the person or their employer are entitled to a full refund.

General

  • If a person is ready, willing and able to receive an agreed service, and Kells nevertheless fails to provide that service (by either failing to make an online course available to a person for a period of no less than 30 days, or by failing to have a face to face seminar available in any advertised location for a period of no less than 90 days), then Kells will provide the person with a refund of the course fee that relates to that agreed service.  This term is not applicable in circumstances where the person is not willing to and / or chooses not to receive an agreed service for any reason.
  • Where a course fee has been paid by credit card, the person or their employer authorises Kells to charge that credit card for any fee identified above.
  • Kells owns the absolute copyright in all assessment tools that are made available to a person, and such assessment tools can only be used by that person for the sole purpose of completing our course(s).
